A roller blind is one flat panel of fabric that rolls up into a slim cassette at the top of the window. It's the tidiest way to control light, and the easiest blind to live with day to day.
In Malta most people choose a screen fabric for living rooms and offices, because it takes the glare off the sun and still lets you see outside, and a blackout fabric for bedrooms. We measure every window for free and fit the blinds ourselves, anywhere in Malta and Gozo.
Screen fabrics are woven with tiny openings, so they cut the sun's glare and heat while you can still see out.
Blackout roller fabrics block the light completely. Ideal for bedrooms, nurseries and holiday lets.
One flat panel and a slim cassette. It suits apartments, offices and new builds.
A smooth fabric that you can wipe down or vacuum lightly. No slats to dust.
South and west-facing windows in Malta take strong sun for most of the year. A darker screen fabric usually gives you the clearest view out and the least glare on TVs and screens, while a lighter one keeps rooms brighter. For bedrooms, pair a blackout roller with sheer curtains for a soft look by day and full darkness at night. Bring us a photo of the room and we'll suggest what works.
Measuring is free. Send us any written quote for the same type of blind and we'll beat it.
