Made to measure · Malta & Gozo
A vertical sheer blind hangs soft sheer fabric vanes from a track. Turn the vanes to open the view or close them for privacy, and draw the whole blind to the side when you want to walk through.
They're made for the wide sliding doors and balcony doors you find in so many Maltese apartments and villas, where a roller blind would be too big and a curtain alone doesn't give enough control.
Draws to one side or splits in the middle, so you can step out onto the balcony or terrace easily.
Turn the vanes slightly for filtered light, or close them fully when you want privacy.
The sheer fabric looks like a curtain, which softens a large window wall.
Works on large glazing where one roller blind would be too wide.
Seafront apartments in Sliema, St Julian's and Qawra, and villas with big terrace doors, need something that handles a wall of glass and strong sea-facing light. Vertical sheers keep the view and the breeze when the door is open, and take the glare off the afternoon sun when it's closed. We measure the full opening, including the space you need to draw the blind clear of the door.
